Hybrid Bikes
Hybrid bikes are exactly as they are named. Not everyone want the head down position of a racing handle bar. As with a mountain bike, to sit up is more comfortable, even if it's more wind resistant.
Hybrids come in all shapes and sizes, but are built with
mostly light weight frames
, which are slightly more resilient than road bikes (some even come with front suspension).
They have
straight handlebars
, and are therefore much more sensible especially if you are genuinely using the bike to get from A-B.
Designed for the road
(albeit some have cyclo-cross heritage), they are great if you are using this bike on the road to go to work.
We don't get offered too many Hybrid bikes, but if you really want one
let us source you a bike
.
