We've detailed below, the process every GBC bike goes through before it is delivered to a customer.

This is our 26 point check list. 

• Previous owner verification - we will not purchase a bike without satisfactory proof of ownership.
• Approximate mileage verification - an assessment of the original components enables us to make a qualified judgement on a machine's usage.
• Full degrease and clean.
• Any paintwork blemishes touched up using colour match and blended. We only touch up marks which add to the appearance of the bike. If a bike is being used, it will get minor blemishes/cable rubs or small scratches. If a bike doesn't have any marks it is not being used! 
• Frameset - Fully checked for integrity.
• Brake Cables Inner and Outer - Inspect and replace if necessary.
• Bottom Bracket - Check for wear and replace if necessary.
• Brake shoes - Inspect and change if necessary.
• Headset - Remove and check/ replace if necessary.
• Front mech - Check function of gears. Adjust and replace if necessary.
• Rear mech -Check function of gears. Adjust and replace if necessary.
• Saddle - Removed lubricated and re-assembled.
• Gear cables Outer and Inner - Inspect and replace if necessary.
• Chain and Cassette - Check for wear and replace if necessary.
• Wheel Bearings - Check and replace if necessary.
• Front and Rear wheels - True if necessary.
• Front Spokes - Tension and alignment checked.
• Rear Spokes - Tension and alignment checked.
• Tyres - Checked for wear and replaced if needed.
• Brake Levers - Checked and replaced if necessary .
• Shifters - Checked and replaced if necessary.
• Bar tape - Remove and replace as necessary.
• MTB - Front and Rear Disk Brakes (Cable) - Inspected and replaced if necessary.
• MTB - Front and Rear Disk Brakes (Hydraulic) - Inspected and replaced if necessary.
• Pedals - removed and bespoked for owner (subject to cost - original pedals supplied if still fitted).
• Full Polish.
• Serial Number - Log and re-registered if applicable.
• Test ride.
